Together, these investigators are transitioning chemical safety evaluation away from traditional animal models and toward advanced, non-animal testing alternatives. By leveraging cutting-edge AI frameworks, virtual control groups, and advanced in vitro and in silico platforms, they are redefining how we predict toxicological risk. Attendees will gain insight into their latest experimental breakthroughs, cross-disciplinary methodologies, and the practical hurdles of gaining regulatory acceptance for these new approaches.

Speakers

Alex Rittenhouse – Addressing the role of maternal inflammation in autism spectrum disorder using immune-competent iPSC derived brain microphysiological systems

Svenja Wingerter – Merging organoid and organ-on-chip technology to generate physiological models of ocular tissue

Alicia Reyes Valenzuela – Advanced lung organoids mimicking proximal and distal regions for viral infection and drug screening

Yuan Pang – Organoid printing for in vitro engineering of living systems

Atsushi Miyashita – Silkworms as a Living NAM Bridging In Vitro Assays and Mammalian Testing

Mohamed Fathi Abdallah – Supporting Future NAMs Toxicologists: The Growing Role of the ESTIV Early Career Network

Chairs: Peter Pobis & Mohamed Fathi Abdallah This session highlights the collaborative efforts of emerging scientists from major European networks—specifically…

["post-14988","page","type-page","status-publish","hentry
["GET
