{"id":12828,"date":"2025-11-05T09:59:22","date_gmt":"2025-11-05T08:59:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.estiv.org\/?p=12828"},"modified":"2025-11-05T10:00:37","modified_gmt":"2025-11-05T09:00:37","slug":"estiv-awards-at-the-jsaae-2025-congress","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.estiv.org\/estiv-awards-at-the-jsaae-2025-congress\/","title":{"rendered":"ESTIV Awards at the JSAAE 2025 Congress"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>ESTIV was proud to present this year\u2019s <strong>ESTIV Awards<\/strong> at the <strong>JSAAE Annual Congress 2025<\/strong>, recognizing outstanding contributions from early-career researchers advancing <strong>non-animal methods (NAMs)<\/strong> and innovative <strong>in vitro toxicology approaches<\/strong>. <br><br>The award committee recognized two outstanding young scientists for their exceptional oral presentations advancing the field of <strong>non-animal toxicology<\/strong> and <strong>Next Generation Risk Assessment (NGRA)<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83e\udd47 <strong>Yi-Ting Lai<\/strong><br><em>\u201cCase studies of NGRA strategy utilizing multiple DASS and RAx: verification in cosmetic ingredient evaluation.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83e\udd47 <strong>Shohei Kaneko<\/strong><br><em>\u201cPrediction of the effects of microplastics on the human body using a physiologically based pharmacokinetic (PBPK) model focusing on immune cells.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83d\udc4f Congratulations to both awardees for their excellent scientific contributions and commitment to advancing innovative, human-relevant approaches in toxicology!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Special thanks to <strong>Dr. Yasunari Kanda <\/strong>(ESTIV Board Member, JSAAE liaison) \u2014 for participating in the Awards selection and for handing over the certificates to the winners during the JSAAE award ceremony of behalf of ESTIV.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Together, ESTIV and JSAAE continue to strengthen global partnerships and promote scientific excellence in <strong>in vitro<\/strong> and <strong>mechanistic toxicology<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83c\udfc5 These awards highlight ESTIV\u2019s continued commitment to fostering international collaboration and supporting scientists who are shaping the future of toxicology through ethical, reliable, and human-relevant testing strategies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"box-sizing: border-box;
