We are pleased to announce a significant achievement within our esteemed community. Dr. Helena Kandarova, President of the European Society of Toxicology In Vitro (ESTIV), has earned the distinguished honour of being shortlisted for the ESET Science Award 2023. Dr. Kandarova’s nomination reflects her exceptional dedication and expertise in the field of alternative methods to animal testing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The ESET Science Award<\/span><\/a> stands as a symbol of recognition for outstanding contributions to the realm of science and innovation in Slovakia. The ceremony is attended by representatives of Slovak and foreign scientific communities, ambassadors and the representatives of government institutions carried out under the auspices of the President of the Slovak Republic Zuzana \u010caputov\u00e1<\/strong>, and in its fifth year, also under the auspices of the European Commission\u2019s Representation i<\/strong>n Slovakia. The Award is given in three categories:
