Freelance Editor-in-Chief — Contract for Services


A freelance contract opportunity has arisen for an experienced Editor-in-Chief to join the existing ATLA team of Managing Editor, Technical Editor and Associate Editors for an initial period of three years, including a six-month trial.


The successful candidate will be engaged on a self-employed basis and will be responsible for their own tax and National Insurance contributions. A modest editorial remuneration of £8,500 per annum is offered for this role.


This is a freelance, remote-based role with flexible working arrangements, subject to agreed deadlines and deliverables. The responsibilities associated with the Editor-in-Chief role, as well as the person specification, are detailed below.
