This 6-day course will be organized from 20-25 September 2026 by the European Society of Toxicology In Vitro (ESTIV) in collaboration with L’Oréal Research & Innovation Centre and industrial partners contributing to hands-on sessions.
During the course, participants will engage in group exercises featuring real-life case studies. These exercises allow you to apply in vitro toxicology principles in the assessment of chemical substance risks. Furthermore, attendees will gain hands-on experience in conducting in vitro tests for skin, eye, lung irritation, and gastro-intestinal effects. This practical component provides valuable skills. In the latter part of the hands-on training, the focus shifts to microfluidic systems, offering participants in-depth knowledge and practical experience in this emerging field.
An open-book exam will be organised at the end of the course.
