Call for Abstracts ESTIV 2026!

The Organising and the Scientific committee warmly invite you to submit your abstract for the ESTIV 2026 Congress in Maastricht.

Submit Your Abstract Now!

We are pleased to announce that abstract submission for the 23rd International Congress of the European Society of Toxicology In Vitro (ESTIV 2026), is now possible! The general theme of the congress is “Ensuring Safety, Advancing Science: Bridging to the Future with NAMs”.

Please note that, unlike in previous years, the abstract submission process will follow a slightly different format.
Abstract submission for oral presentations is limited to speakers within the provisionally accepted sessions. Session organisers must ensure that high-quality abstracts are submitted via the ESTIV system by the end of June 2025.

Sessions without submitted abstracts by June 2025 may be removed from the programme. Oral abstracts outside of these sessions will not be accepted.

Submission for poster presentations is open to all, and we warmly encourage everyone to share their work through a poster abstract and participate actively in the congress — your contributions continue to inspire and drive progress in our field. Contribution submitted as a poster may still be upgraded by the congress organisers to an Oral presentation if the congress identifies new sessions or if it fits into sessions with missing abstracts. Every registered participant can present two posters at the ESTIV 2026 congress as first author or co-author.

Submission deadlines:
Oral presentations:30 June 2025, 11:59 CEST
(only for provisionally accepted session submissions)

oster presentations: 12 November, 11:59 CET(for all applicants)
The abstract notification is planned as soon as possible after the submission deadline (at the latest by 4 December 2025).
